BINGO!!
Right on Vance ... when the engine started the  pedal didn't  ... 
absolutely no movement ... ahh well now  at  least  I know how  to 
change  the  booster, really only a  10 minute job ...  as  soon as I 
get  another  one,  that  hopefully works  >:-o
