My TR is in a similar state of restoration. An APA GL-4 rating rather than the
commonly available GL-5 is recommended for TRs. I just picked up 3 quarts of
Redline MT-90 for the differential and transmission. General concensus on the
different 'net resources I was able to find is that this is the "good stuff"
for the differential and transmission.
