Hello, I just bought a set of rebuilt rear hubs from the Roadster Factory. When I was packing up my old "cores", I noticed a difference: my old hubs had the stub axles retained by a castellated nut with a cotter pin (on the outer/wheel side) whereas the new ones have a plain nut. When I look at the parts diagrams, it seems there may have been two types. Does anyone know more about this? Are the hubs equally secure? Tomislav Marincic '71 TR6 CC55483L |
