Hey Marty,
I dropped my harmonic balancer (infuriating!!!) while I had it off during
my electric fan conversion. I was able to have a guy braze the chip back on.
Its not perfect by any means.. but it works. It's a smooth fix, and the belt is
happy. So it might be worth taking by a "can-do" welder type and have them give
it a shot.
