I just put a "27" fron a 240 Volvo in my '73 TR6. I like the higher ratio.

I think it's from a '78 Volvo, but my current 240, a '93 model, has automatic 
w/overdive with the same J-Type and it's a 4cyl. Best small engine car I've 
ever driven, I like it so much I use it as my daily driver.
