The local TR dealer here in town was giving a demo on Tower Road, an old
highway used for hillclimbs and rolled a brand new TR6. The top was up,
it didn't collapse, they rolled it on its wheels and drove it back to the
shop.
I have .125 wall thickness 1-3/4" tubing in my car for the main double
paper-clip roll bar. Too heavy in my opinion. You get strength by having
more tubes attatching in more places than one big heavy one.
