I have got my engine back together and am now rebuilding the tranny. I am considering lightening the flywheel. Anybody know how material (thickness-wise) to remove to cut the weight by 6 lbs. Also as the material is coming off the friction disc side how will this affect the disengagement? I would think that as the clutch fork will travel in an increased arc maybe a longer pushrod may be needed to maintain proper pedal travel. TIF Mike C '71 TR6 |
