Steve---This happened as my unit tried to click over at the 200,000 mile mark. (Twice) The first time I got it going again by reseting the trip meter. The second time this didn't work. I was on a long trip at the time, and it started working about a half-day later on its own. OK still after 6,000 miles. No doubt it's tired, but try the reset knob a couple of times while driving.
