Chuck---I'm 99% sure the voltage stabilizer connects to the back of the
speedo only because that's where Triumph decided to hang it. Up out of
the way, and grounded thru the speedo housing. If so, this means you
could locate the VS anywhere you choose, and provide a different ground.

Contacting  Herman always seems the best way to resolve other issues
that develop when fitting one of his conversions. He may not have
figured in such things as electric speedos, but by now he must have came
across this.
