74 TR6 Frame Problems

Have a 74 TR6.  Car apparently was in an accident years ago before I acquired 
it.  Front left end of frame starting to show signs of stress/weakness.  
Suggestion from my mechanic was to pull engine and then have frame repaired 
to original specs.  Obviously a very costly procedure.  Looking for anyone in 
the Allentown-Philadelphia-Reading area who could possibly give me a second 
opinion.  Thanks.
