There was some incorrect information in a recent post...
The overall length of the TR triumph gearboxes is that same for normal,
A-type and J-type. The only differences between the gearboxes are related
to the gearbox mounts. An A-type will bolt directly into a '69 - '72 TR6
with no mods. A J-type will bolt into a 73 - 76 TR6 with no mods.
If you want to put a J-type in an early car, you need to play with the
frame mounts and visa-versa.
The driveshaft is the same for all years, O/D or non-O/D.
