'69 TR6 questions

I am looking at a '69 TR6 that is is very good shape and  reasonably priced. 
The seats in the car do not have headrests and it does not look like they 
ever did. Is this likley? An example would be the seats pictured on the 
inside cover (back page) of the Moss catalog #TRS-13. Next question, there 
does not appear to be any hardware on the doors or the dash for a tonneau 
cover, was this standard? Any help or pointers for things to watch out for on 
1969's will be appreciated. Thanks, Joe in NH
