chassis frame diff between early and late TR6

I've heard for the first time that there is a difference between the early
and late TR6 chassis frames - is this true?  If so, whats the difference?
Any impact on using an early frame with a late model body on top of it?

My frame is bent and I've got feelers out for a new one, if anybody has a
frame for a 74.5 please let me know
