I came across this point of interest since many of us TR6 owners sport 
BFGoodrich Touring T/A SR4 tires:
"The Goodrich Corporation has not made or sold tires in more than a 
decade. This business was sold to Michelin, which continues to sell tires 
under the BFGoodrich brand. (http://www.bfgoodrich.com/discont.asp)"
Their website only recently changed, because I was able to download pdf 
spec on their tires only a month ago (Touring_TR4-SR4.pdf). I was a bit 
surprise given their recent advertising in Car and Driver magazine... buy 
four tires and receive a GTech monitor for free (o'course not valid on SR 
rated tires - drats!) I'm a bit taken aback... isn't this a little 
misleading. It's like buying a Triumph and finding out that Toyota brought 
the brand in 1969 and built your car under a licensing agreement. 
Hmmm, maybe that's why so many Toyota parts can be used in the drivetrain! 
I think I'm on to something here  ;-)
