If you have to fill a hollow rather than a cut, you can try with black 
silicone which you is available at home depot. Once you fill the gouge with 
silicone, put saliva on your finger ( to keep the stuff from sticking and to 
cure fast ) and smooth out the area flush with the surrounding surfaces.
