If you get a good light in there, you may see a tiny hole along one
side of the shaft of the plastic knob. You need to spray some
penetrant/wd40 etc. in that hole. Take a strong dental pick or other
strong, fine pointed instrument and depress the detent that may be
holding the knob on.
