Presuming that all linkage is equal and smooth, from bottom (closed), to top
(full open), and both floats are set to equal specks.
It is important that they be able to close equally, with no contact of idle
speed screw, net.

{{Just for fun ...... count your turns going back in, BEFORE you start this
whole process.}}

Now, with Idle mixture screws turned in and closed, you will start with
half turns, and then 1/4 turns later as you begin to dial in.
You should be between 1/2 and 1 1/2 turns out, .... depending on your
jetting.... between 1/2 & 1 is optimum.

Now with motor running at OPPERATING TEMP, and all the above in order, you
can start to dial in the idle mixture.

Your only concern with idle at this point, is they are equal, an in sink.

If you do not have a synchrometer, than try useing a peace of hose, and
listen very closely to the sound of air being drawn in to the carbs.
This hissing air should be of equal sound pitch !!!!!!!

Now, at this point you will be listening closely,to establish peak idle
though your mixture.
Once this as been established, you can now set the idle to your desired RPM.
