I know what you mean, I've finally decided after 24 years that the 'redline 
look' was not worth it. I haven't purchased a set of tires yet for my 6, 
but I still have time to think about it. We've heard from a lot of listers 
that the Pirelli's are  a great  tire as compared to the original or 
re-make redlines. Happy to hear that you're happy.
