Does anyone know which terminal on the alternator the little brown and green
wire goes on?, in the workshop manual it says the terminal is called "F" and
it goes to the "F" on the alternator control unit, which mine does, but the
last owner cut it off just before the alternator!!!. The car runs so I'm not
sure what it does anyway. And another thing, on the black plastic alternator
cover mine has two +'s and no -, as the manual shows it should have?????.
Is the + the one closer to the left side of the car or the middle one????.
Anyone got any ideas?????.
This might only be on Mk1 PI's as Mk2's don't have alternator control
unit's.
