I am by no means an "expert" when it comes to crossing the Canadian border. I always have a passport and a copy of my birth certificate. Maybe if you're driving across a driver's license will do...

don't get stressed out. You don't need a passport to come to Canada...just good ID, driver's license etc. As far as the car and stuff goes, my best advise is to have something that proves ownership
