You aren't mixing 6V and 12V bulbs are you? First, the lights should be connected in parallel, not in series. I am assuming they are. Second, there should be the same voltage to each bulb. If not, yo

it does sound like a ground problem, but first be sure that the wires are going to the correct filaments. Are you using stock contacts in the door jambs on both sides? that could be giving power con
