I just saw a pretty neat show on tv called overhauling where they (headed by chip foose) do frame up restifications (restoration + modification) in 7 days. the one I just saw was with a 59? gmc truck

Saw the same show - think it was a 48 ~ 53 GMC - had head lights / front bumper / grill from 55 / 56 Chev car - looked pretty good. Sure made my so far two year at best half done AD restoration look

This is a great show. Foose has great taste and doesn't usually spoil the original idea of whatever car he's doing. I don't like the B.S. plot where the hosts fool the vehicle owner...cheesy 'too hip

Overhaulin' and American Hot Rod........ What happened that Charlie is now painting for Chip Foose and not Boyd? Does Chip Foose just design cars or does he have a shop that also builds cars? oletruc
