I am trying to rebuild my single action shocks. I purchased 2 link kits that came with bushings and pins. Well the bushings are H shaped rubber with a steel tube on the inside. I can not get the bush

My '48 Chevy has the single action lever style shocks and they are low on fluid. From looking at the service manual, it looks like these can be refilled and the valve can be replaced. My question is

My '48 Chevy has the single action lever style shocks and they are low on fluid. >> Hydraulic jack oil works well. Just fill them up and don't worry about valves. It may take a year for them to leak
