Do like the old truck Power steering kits do. Put the 70's gear box out on the outer side of left frame rails just like the orig 70''s one was. Then run a shaft and u-joint set-up back to your column

I should clarify, I'm not worried about the linkage to the colomn, its the from the gear box to the wheels. In stock form the 73's gear box is a good 4 inches past the outside of the frame in relatio
