First posting to the list. My wife and just just bought what is supposed to be a 1 ton (3800) Chevy panel that was originally used as a school bus. Its still partially outfitted as such. Unfortunate

NO! No frame stampins till later years. Sometimes go by hood markings or engine #'s on flat area behind the distributor. Maybe the manufacturer of the bus has it's own plate somewhere? G. L. Perry Hu
