I have heard but don't know for sure that a later (70 something) meatball will fit the 3/4 ton. Someone with an interchange book could tell you for sure. If any one knows or finds out please let us k

The center section can be replaced with one from a early 70's chevy with an rear. (they were used from 46 til 72 if i remember right) But the highest ratio you'll find will probably be 4.11:1 for cru
