That's because the list server doesn't pass attachments.

All attachments are automatically removed from all team.net served lists. If you want someone to receive an attachment, you must send it directly to the recipient. Irv

Not as far as I know. I don't remember ever receiving an attachment from any team.net list. If you got an attachment you must've been individually named among the addressees. Rick

That is a drawback. The list server doesn't tell the originator that their attachment's been discarded. At least the text of the message gets to the list, unlike what happens if you accidentally send
