Horseheads is pretty close to the track maybe 5 minutes or so. I stayed at a best western there one year it wasn't bad.

The V10 in the Dodge Dually Helps. Especially up that monster hill (with the trailer :)

So... Is that a Group 10? I appreciate the info about Horseheads being relatively close (OK, maybe 10 minutes in my 4.0 V6 Ford Ranger, sans trailer), but I would still like an in-town room if possib

If rooms are still available, I can recomend the Glenora Inn on the lake about 6 miles north of Watkins Glen. It was just opened last year and it is the best place I've ever stayed up there. Stan Van
