Nope, Jim Hall started off a little more upscale than that, the first time I remember him racing in Texas, he was in the latest Porsche Spyder. One of my favorite memories in racing is watching Hall

The car was called the Paper Mache Special - it was built by a racer who was also a high school shop teacher - wire mesh made the body frame and the paper mache was industrial strength paper towels
