By synthetic, I assume that you mean Dot 5. There are some synthetics out there that are superior to anything else where it comes to high temp service. Motul is an example. John

Greg, for rain would suggest that you look at Hoosier dirt track tires, awesome in the wet. Also, rim width is figured differently for rain tires, as you want the rain rubber to crown a little, helps

Quaife is not a "locker", but a gear type akin to the torsen. It does not upset the car as a locker does, but will not work like a locker if you don't keep both wheels on the ground. I highly recomme
