You have to change the studs to the shorter ones. The longer ones for the disk wheels will interfere with the wires.

Nick, Thanks for the bump steer info. Great fix! I think the vertical link, lower trunion and steering arm are from Triumph Herald. Some of the Herold stuff was used on the Spitfires but you have to

Charlie, I suspect Herold. Although Spit shared much with the Herold they did not share all. The Griff shows the parts to be Herold (specific) and not Spit, although the lower A-Arm is shared by Spit
