- Note that towing from the rear (i.e. front wheels on the ground rolling backwards) can have a very detrimental effect should you happen to have wire wheels. It is possible for the knockoff to unwind

- most of our gearboxes don't have oil pumps (tr8's excepted?) so the gears are splash lubricated by the rotating shafts. does any one know whether the input shaft or the output shaft picks up the oil
