While we are on the alternator issue, I was speaking to a friend a few weeks ago who said that he has found that a Geo Metro Alternator is super small, super light and super efficient in its output.

Thanks Graham, This is the same, GM 7127 90amp unit. It is definitely larger but fits with out a problem. The modification to the lower bolt through is really minor, the rest lined up perfectly. Your
