I just arrived home today with the '66 TR4A that I bought in Arkansas. When I went to the DMV to get a new title, a question came up on the chassis ID. The ID did not come up on their computer. I got

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This is the VIN or Commission number; that's the one they'll want. ^^^^ ^^^ FWIW, this indicates that the car was originally Signal Red, with black interior. The "H" indicates Leather

Thomas, that is the one. It is the commission number. The "L" means "left hand drive" (LHD). The "32" means the car was originally painted "Signal Red" the "H11" means that the interior was black wit

Thomas, further info. Your car was built in 1965, so it is a '65 - not a '66. The car was originally titled in '66 - hence the "STC 66." This has no effect on the value - both years were a long time
