As I recall (being one of those involved in the previous discussion), Doug Mitchell solved the critical part of the equation. Fitting the temp. sender is the problem, solved by using an adaptor from

It will, but I think you'll still need that adaptor so that the temp. sender bulb has something to seat on. There is no seat on the water pump housing, just a threaded hole. The sleeve won't help to
