** Jerry, Can't say on the TR6, but chances are that the original air box is rather restrictive in the upper rpm ranges which is where you will notice the most gains. With mine I definitely noticed

I had a Wber downdraft on a `76 BMW 2002. The filter inside the metal housing was foam, and I soaked it and wrung it out in gas until the gas came pretty clear. Hope that helps... Mike Blonder Elmhu
