I always keep a can of lighter fluid around for just such occasions. Great for removing those unremoveable price tags stores like to put on everything. Trick is to let it soak in for a few minutes. N

I would suggest 3M's "Tar and Adhesive Remover". This works really well at removing all the adhesives I've tried to get off of things. It even succeeded in removing the original header rail seal from
