I have just bled out all of the old DOT 3 brake fluid out of my TR3A and replaced it with DOT 5. I did this to both protect my newly-painted engine bay, and because I understand that DOT 5 fluid won'

I made the change 2 years ago to silicone. I also put it in the clutch clinder. It hasn't required changing anything. Some have this notion that it requires seal changing. I think its more due to a 3

Always been taught to start with all new parts........flush system with alcohol........... I think we have a test platform here..............IMO........watch closely for leaks, master cylinder fluid
