The adjuster is 1/4 inch. In the past, I have used a 1/4 inch eight point socket. Snap-On sells a 1/4 inch four point socket. However, someone on this list made a good suggestion a few months back. B

Depending upon how much you need to do, you might want to try using some 600-grit sandpaper. I tried that when I rebuilt one of my rear brake cylinders and it seemed to work fine. - BAK - Bruce A. K
