Here's another option. Plug the vacuum line that connects to the booster and drive your car. My booster started leaking the moment I pulled into the motel (August , 2000) at VTR2000 in Portland, Ore

Takes special tools (or lots of ingenuity) to dis- and re- assemble the booster, even if someone will sell you the rebuild kit. If you can do without the car for a few days, my suggestion is to take

Corey, I agree with Bud. Mine developed a leak on a trip also, and I just plugged it like Bud did and drove it like that for the rest of the trip. I did get around to replacing it a few months later,

All: There's a company that advertizes in Hemmings every month that does nothing but rebuild vacum brake boosters. The name escapes me now, so pick up a copy and cruise through the sevices section. P

I checked the listquest archives and couldn't find the message, but I'd *swear* that someone said they'd been successful getting the brake servo rebuilt (or at least getting an appropriate diaphragm)
