The Fiesta Alternator is from a 79-80 Fiesta (with air). One additional hassel about this one is that requires an external regulator that the GM does not. apparantly, it is a better mechanical fit, b

I'm also somewhat at a loss. Everyone says the GM Alternator is inexpensive ($35/- in a recent post) What model was that for? I've heard early 80's but I just got quoted $65/- plus a core charge and

I wonder of the Fiesta alternator is the same one that is being described. My search revealed a cost of over $80.oo for the Bosche Unit. I also found that the GM was higher than reported. That might

Andy, The one you want is the Delcotron SI, from the late '70 to the early '80s. I paid $26.99 for mine, plus $15 for a core charge. Tell the counter man what you are using it in, and that may help.
