- In my opinion, NO. I have done so. I have also had them fall off afterwards. In a pinch, they can be recycled once by tapping the nylon end with a BFH and forcing more of the nylon out into the hole

- The accepted wisdom is "No"! That said, I have re-used them on occasion when in a pinch. But when I do, I always give the nut a whack on the nylon side to disturb the part where the bolt has grooved

- The "no" answer comes from the aircraft industry and the FAA standards prohibiting their reuse. However, that prohibition on reuse was lifted well over a decade ago, back when I was spinning wrenches
