In my opinion, NO. I have done so. I have also had them fall off afterwards. In a pinch, they can be recycled once by tapping the nylon end with a BFH and forcing more of the nylon out into the hole

The accepted wisdom is "No"! That said, I have re-used them on occasion when in a pinch. But when I do, I always give the nut a whack on the nylon side to disturb the part where the bolt has grooved

The "no" answer comes from the aircraft industry and the FAA standards prohibiting their reuse. However, that prohibition on reuse was lifted well over a decade ago, back when I was spinning wrenches

I guess that depends on the critical nature of the application. If it comes off will you die? If the answer is yes then don't reuse. If the result is merely a nuisance then go ahead and reuse. I have
