I pulled the pinch bolt out. It looks OK except possibly a little bent. PO had a nyloc nut on it with flat washers. The machined area around the splines is a little worn. I can detect no play in the

Jim's comment made me think again. The splined area has machined groove in it. The 1/4 bolt I used slid right in. Did I get lucky and have it aligned with the groove or doesn't the bolt actually alig

I used a 1/4 x 20 grade 5 with a nyloc nut and loctite. I did buy a 1/4 x 28 and didn't use it cause the one I took out was 20 tpi. I can change it though. If I pin it per Peter C's recommendation sh
