If you do not have a variable DC power supply, I wonder if it would work to add D-cell batteries (1.5 V) in series, gradually, to step up 3 to 4.5, to 6 V etc? In series would be like they are stacke

James, I also used an engine enamel. The one I used was labeled 225 Alpine Green from Plasti-Cote (possibly the same paint as Dupli-Color?). The color is as close to the original color on my '67 TR4A
