I'd appreciate the lists advice. My 69TR6 starts and runs normally. If you stop and shut the engine off, it will not start for awhile until the engine cools down. I believe its flooded and I need to

Have a helper sit in the car and step on the brakes when you are trying to undo the 4 nuts. If that dosen't work, get a BF pipe wrench and put it on the ww extension to keep it from turning. David B.

Yes, you can retrofit. If the transmission top cover is not tapped for it, you will have to remove it and tap it. Switches available from the usuals...same as the overdrive switches. David B. Hammond
