I've never had a problem with mine, but that filter shown on the bottom of the AS page is also a handy way of adapting the inlet to a soft line, and is a standard part available in most parts stores

My question is where the blue gunk was applied. Guy at work has a small MG. Told me he was planning to replace the head gasket using the silicon to seal. I advised against it, but he did it anyway. M
