- What kind of oil is in your Carb dampers? I've found that if it's too low viscosity that you get a lean condition when you accelerate as the carb piston is raising too fast which let's more air in.

- I experimented and found that in the summer I could use almost anything but the winter was a different story. I tried different weights of oil, 3 in 1 oil, ATF, etc and ended up with gold old 30W. It

- Come to think of it, I believe all my wheels are 13"x5.5" The original wheels were increased from 4.5" to 5" for the later Spitfires, and alloy upgrades were 5.5". The Cosmics on the GT6 are 5.5" too
