- I agree. With the caveat that it should be only a small amount of oil, and a larger change in compression. The oil itself will raise the reading slightly even if the rings are fine. Randall ________

- I can tell you that I spent at least 8 hours per door to get them to a point they would just close. The issue I had was with the new rubber door seals - they took some squishing down to get the door

- Also had that with my TR4, in trunk and Garage! Fix was simple-put folded saran wrap under gas cap as I closed it- has worked for years now! Problem is the 'seal' on the new in 2000 Moss cap is tight

- That's odd. Mine says to turn the distributor until the light just goes out. Step 5, section 86.35.15, page 520. It does depend on how the light is connected, but the diagram in the Bentley shows it
