The TR6 heater core has two openings on it's side one at the top and one at the bottom. One pipe is longer than the other. Which is on top the long or short pipe. thanks Art

I am in the process of reassembling my 1971 TR 6's heater and am not sure if there is a correct orientation(top and bottom) to the heater core. Can either side be used as the water inlet or output. A
