- Just to throw my $0.02 into this discussion, my worst car was a 1970 Rover 3500S. Aluminum V8, bolt-on body panels (you could, in theory change the color of the car with a wrench), 4-wheel disc brake

- the door and I've got a similar situation developing on the passenger door on my TR4. The attachment ears pulled out on the other door before I got the car, and the DPO installed a small threaded eye
